Waste disposal app has been awarded the Logistics Award 2018.

The environmental pioneer was awarded this coveted accolade at the evening gala following the 25th Austrian Logistics Day on 12th June 2018 at the Design Center Linz.

Construction waste disposal 4.0

“Moving digitally into the future” – this was the motto for the 10th Austrian Logistics Award ceremony at the Design Center Linz. The Verein Netzwerk Logistik (VNL, or Association for Network Logistics) jury finally selected Saubermacher Dienstleistungs AG as the victor from the three finalists in this year’s competition for its innovative project, is a promising next generation construction waste disposal solution developed by Saubermacher. It enables companies to manage the disposal of their waste simply, efficiently and completely transparently via smartphone. The digital platform provides a real‑time link between customers and suppliers, and is also environmentally friendly, since the app notifies the order to all the closest vehicles. All business logic, interfaces (APIs), web portals and administration portals were developed and implemented internally by interdisciplinary teams, with the Saubermacher in‑house Smart Service Team taking the lead on the project.

Expanding a successful project

The app will soon enable construction waste disposal to be managed digitally in Germany, France and the UK as well as in Austria. The global environmental management group Veolia is bringing the platform developed by Austrian recycling company Saubermacher to the German market for the first time.
